Body Talk

This video allows you to show the impact body language has on all face-to-face communication with colleagues and customers. You'll make your people aware of the benefits of positive body language. Most importantly, you'll give them the skills they need to use 'body talk' to communicate more clearly and confidently. Before long, everyone will see the ways they can apply this understanding to a variety of situations - including giving presentations and managing interviews. Materials in the trainer's guide and second 'trigger' video encourage participants to apply what they have learned from the video to their personal circumstances.

Learning includes:

• how to be aware of other people's non-verbal communication (including how to identify body language which doesn't tally with what the speaker is saying)
• how to be aware of your own body language
• how to recognise the effect you are having on others by reading their response
• how to use body language to transmit the messages you intend
